Each of our employees get a copy of Marcus' book, "Now discover your strengths" when they join us. So, we know the top 5 strengths of every individual that works for us. My questions: What is next? How do you take this knowledge further and make it work in your organisations? Any examples, success stories?
We've given it some thought and one thing we have done was to develop a database from where I can generate a Individualised Strengths Profile for any individual within 2 mouse clicks.
This individual strengths profile report contains the following:
1) Strength graph indicating your strength leadership themes in terms of the EXECUTER, INFLUENCER, RELATION BUILDER and STRATEGIC THINKER categories.
2) 5 top strengths listed in order and colour coded to indicate into which of the above mentioned groups they fall into
3) For each of the top 5 strengths:
3.1) A description (taken from the book, Now Discover your Strengths – Marcus Bukingham)
3.2) “Look like”, “Grow” and “Manage” descriptors.

It is also possible to classify a number of employees as part of a specific team for which you can then generate a “Team Leadership Strengths Profile”.
I assume the book "Go Put Your Strengths to Work" is also a starting point..
