Strengths Campus

fostering a community of people interested in exploring strengths

So, I'm a Vancouverite writing this post in between periods 2 and 3. I'm trying to focus on what's working. If it were closer, I wouldn't be writing this at all as it would deserve my entire focus and attention. There is a lesson here. It's just not one I can see right now. I just kinda want to cry. Am I giving up? No- there's still a possibility. Well, would be much MORE possible if Thomas weren't in the net. The guy is good. For those hockey fans out there, what's the strengths lesson here? It might be easier to see by those of you out there who are NOT hockey fans. We're too close to it to be able to see it.

There's a minute left - it's 4-0. Still can't see the lesson. Help me out here people. I need a pick-me-up. The crowd is on their feet and cheering for the Bruins.

Good for you Boston. You played very well and you deserve it.

Still love the Canucks.

Sniff.

Right after I posted this, the riots began. Do the folks in Utah riot when they lose? Yeesh.

I've never been much of a hockey fan, but a couple of my friends from Canada happened to be in town for that game 7 - and it was a brutal game 7 for them.

I can relate, however...given that I'm a Jazz fan.  They've gotten to the finals twice, but never to a game 7.  Thanks for bringing up that painful memory.

As far as a Strengths lesson, "never play Michael Jordan in the finals."  You're welcome.
