Welcome to the StandOut User Group!

We here at TMBC are excited to finally have the chance to discuss our newest tool to help people put their strengths to work. We felt strongly that this assessment had to go beyond simply describing those who take it; instead, StandOut gives you specific strategies for how to make the most of your own strengths in various situations. For those of you who are managers, it can also provide a wealth of information on the strengths of your team and on how to manage people with specific strengths roles.

We hope you'll find StandOut useful, and we look forward to being part of the discussions here!

Mine are provider and equalizer.  These are pretty consistent with what I do and who I am as an administrator.  Although not perfectly correct, a very good assessment.

Standout: Influencer/Pioneer
Strengthsfinder 2.0:

Definitely see the alignment of individual strengths to core areas highlighted by this assessment. Exploring ways to leverage these within my current work environment or perhaps to make a transition to a new position/employer where they are fully utilized.

Pioneer and Stimulator. The description of each and the combined roles was absolutely on the mark. All the information contained in the profile is, and will continue to be, a valuable resource.

Fran, my apologies.

@Bruce, there actually is a place to buy access on the website for $15.  @Quentin, I was suggesting top five strengths from strengthfinders in addition to top two from Stand Out.

Raetta, you have started that change. Here's to your success. Read and absolutely understand everything from the assessment PDF you got. It really is gold.

My top two are Advisor and Teacher.  Knowing that doesn't help the fact I'm in a job where my advise is not listen to and my teaching is undervalued.  I am standing at a crossroad. Where do I go from here? I know that I am ready for a change.

It is worth the wait Bruce.

Waiting for my book delivery to be able to take the assessment. I was surprised there wasn't a way to buy a key directly from site.

Hey Fran, the most wonderful thing about life is that we can identify anything we feel like identifying. Here's my 5:

Pioneer, Provider, Creator, Stimulator, Teacher. I love this stuff :)
