Welcome to the StandOut User Group!

We here at TMBC are excited to finally have the chance to discuss our newest tool to help people put their strengths to work. We felt strongly that this assessment had to go beyond simply describing those who take it; instead, StandOut gives you specific strategies for how to make the most of your own strengths in various situations. For those of you who are managers, it can also provide a wealth of information on the strengths of your team and on how to manage people with specific strengths roles.

We hope you'll find StandOut useful, and we look forward to being part of the discussions here!

Hi - just took StandOut. My top 2 are Equalizer and Creator and my first reaction is not a match. I'll read the details again and let you know. But that's why I'm here to learn more, understand the roles and then have them help me understand my job, role in my job to perform better and also determine if it's a good match for me or time to find a new position in the corporation.

My top 2 are Influencer/Teacher. I can definitely make good things happen. I can also teach effectively. And better yet, I can make awesome things happen with the people I teach. Wow, this is the basis of my new business. Go figure.

Marcus (probably not surprisingly) is a Stimulator Creator.

Connector / Equalizer. This means that I play the role of a catalyst by putting or rather bringing together two things to make something bigger than it is currently.

Connector/Pioneer are my top two roles. I am like to link people with good people and opportunities. I like to think of new ways to do new things:)

I'm a Creator/Provider. I like figuring out how things work and suggesting better ways to do things... and I am really uncomfortable when anybody's left out. So yep, that about sums it up.

Well, well, well...I'm an Advisor Pioneer, go figure...I'm always telling people what to do, but with so much optimism that they actually listen.  Nice.

I'm a Pioneer Creator - which means I'm a "constant inventor."  Also, I often speak in mixed metaphors, but that wasn't covered in my results.
