Strengths Campus

fostering a community of people interested in exploring strengths

The book that started it all for me was Now, Discover Your Strengths.  I found out about the book through a leadership newsletter, and it intrigued me.  So I ordered it, started to read it, and when I did the StrengthsFinder assessment, I was blown away at how it nailed me.  I asked myself, "How did you do that?  Have you been following me, watching my every move for the past 25 years?"  After reading the book, I began practicing it, and eventually went to Gallup's Great Manager Program and TMBC's Simply Strengths and Strong Manager Seminars, and read the follow on books . . .

I agree with Craig.  Now, Discover Your Strengths changed my trajectory.  It opened my eyes to how the brain develops and how its trillions of synapses connect to make us all uniquley strong.  Facinating.  Making some sense of the strongest synapse connections, or "T1" lines, and creating an optimisitc language to describe them is profound.  It's so refreshing to see people, and relate to them, as their many talent themes, and not as described by protected class language.   Not just a novel or scientific study of personality, Now, Discover your Strengths is a reference book containg the greatest in all of us.  Read it, recommend it, refer to it, and live it.
