fostering a community of people interested in exploring strengths

I'm not aware of any tests that are administered through the campus here, welcome, by the way.
There is an online assessment which reveals your top two Strengths roles, but it is included as part of Marcus's book, "StandOut." Also, the Gallup organization has a talent themes assessment which reveals your top 5 (out of 34). Marcus did great work with Don Clifton in "Now, Discover Your Strengths," which also includes a code to take the online assessment.
Kenny
.. that 's a pity( that this site has no test option) as that book (now discover your strengths)is out of print.
I thought this link may provide an option.
That is the main reason I joined this site..and why I bought "go put your strengths to work'
Is it not possible to add a link in ?

Permalink Reply by Bruce on September 7, 2012 at 10:00pm Now, Discover Your Strengths (book) is available on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Discover-Your-Strengths-Marcus-Buckingham/dp/...
There's also StrengthsFinder 2.0 (book).
You can also buy codes separately from: http://www.gallupstrengthscenter.com/Purchase
That website and both of the books I mentioned above have codes to take StrengthsFinder, though I'm still trying to figure out if Now, Discover Your Strengths and StrengthsCentre come with a code to take the newer, 2.0 version of StrengthsFinder. Ask Gallup (strengthsfinder.com) if you want to find out.
There's also StandOut (book) which comes with a code to take the StandOut strengths-assessment, which will help you find not your strengths, but your strength roles. And you can buy codes separately on the StandOut website, but I found it a better deal to just buy the book on Amazon so I got the book as well as a code.

Go Put Your Strengths To Work (book) has processes that will work without taking StrengthsFinder.
Now, Discover Your Strengths is sort of a misleading title, in that it sort of helps you to discover your talents, which then can help you to create strengths. (To learn more about what I mean, read Now, Discover Your Strengths).
But anyway... you don't necessarily need to take any particular test or assessment. Explore the ones that interest and resonate with you. Kenneth and I have given you some leads you can follow to explore further.
So there is nothing attached to the book "Go put your Strengths to Work"? I thought there was a strengths engagement track and film download.
